Frizzell has been working in the film industry since high school. Starting out in the art department he went on to work as stand-by props and art direction on local and international feature films, TV shows, and the big budget commercials through the boom time of New Zealand advertising. He was fortunate enough to work with some of New Zealand’s most iconic film directors, Geoff Murphy, Gaylene Preston, Barry Barclay, Vincent Ward, Lee Tamahori and Geoff Dixon to name a few.
